He was graduated from San Fernando High School in 1930. Cabot and his orchestra recorded on the Atomic label in Hollywood in the 1940s, which may explain the reference to the "Film Colony's Favorite Music" on this broadside. Stillwell's on the shore of Big Bear Lake in southern California was a popular destination for rustic vacations in the 1930s and 1940s. The "Fitch Band Wagon" was a Sunday night radio program in the early 1940s, featuring big bands of the era.
