In part: "...I Daniel Armstrong of Norwich in ye County of New London and Colony of Connecticut in New England for and in Consideration of one Hundred & thirty pounds in Current Old Tenor Bills...Sell Convey & Confirm unto him sd James Hodge of Bridgewater in sd County of plymouth & province of Massachusetts Bay in New England...a Certain piece of Land in Sd Norwich...about five acres & a half of Land Lying near the Dweling house of Mr. John Avery...[detailed parameters follow] ... Daniel Armstrong was born at Norwich in 1711, the son of Benjamin & Sarah Abigail (Raymond) Armstrong. Isaac Huntington (1688-1764), a weaver, also succeeded his father as town clerk of Norwich. As a representative to the Connecticut General Assembly, he served on several committees dealing with Indian affairs.
