Tim Smith played his first gig at age 11, and went on to appear with Conway Twitty, Loretta Lynn, Barbara Mandrell, Jerry Lee Lewis, Ray Stevens and other country stars. Along the way, he met and recorded three albums with Pauline, and the two were married in 1980.
