Atoka, Oklahoma: 1899. Original manuscript. One page, quarto, written in sepia ink on lined paper. Territorial Clerk, E.J. Tannin, certifies that O.H. Etting is the official Notary Public for the Central District of the Indian Territory, "that he was appointed in open court on the 30th day of November, 1897 and that all his official acts are entitled to full faith and credit...." D.N. Robb, an early white settler and merchant at Atoka, also served as Treasurer of the Murrow Indian Orphan Home, established by the American Baptist Mission to care for orphan children of the Choctaw and Chickasaw Nations.
