A ribbon imprinted "Celebration" is tipped to the rear pastedown. / Accompanied, as issued, by a 20-page booklet in English, translating the original text and adding biographical and career data on Raymond Gid. Both volumes fit neatly into the original slipcase of marbled paper over boards, with a presentation label to Abe Lerner from Sol M. Cantor and Robert L. Abe Lerner, to whom this example was presented, was a noted book designer and avid collector of modern fine printing, former Director of Design and Production for both World Publishing Co. and Macmillan, President Emeritus of Typophiles, and longtime member of the Grolier Club.
