1920s. Original album. Hardcover. Oblong album of printed forms for school memories, some filled in, plus 23 photographs (2.75" x 4.75") mounted with photo corners onto leaves of black stock. The memory pages neatly filled in with blue ink are: My Class Motto; Officers; Nicknames and Nonsense (3pp); My Teachers; My Class Mates (2pp, 24 names). In a string-tied, oblong octavo (7.25" x 11") album of brown leatherette over boards, gilt-stamped "My Memoriy Book." Very Good. Item #039646

Although the location is not given, surnames in this album include: Baughman, Sherry, Bailey, Derr, Hipple, Kester, Lyons, Poling, Slyder, Stocker, Whittington, et al. Photographs iinclude groups of young women picnicking, playing games in woods, swimming, posed at farm locations, on a crude parade float, on an early boardwalk, etc. Also seen are children on an old wooden porch, along a dirt road, etc. Perhaps most telling is a small, brick school house with a belfry and bell.
