Includes: (1)palm card, "Here's a little bull from the Ringside Ranch...," cartoon on verso; (2) octavo card with a four-panel gag involving a bicycle for two and a walk into woods; (3) a card featuring a cowgirl; (4) a souvenir packet of "only the finest h.s. and b.s." to be rubbed on your boots and behind your ears to smell like a cowboy, in envelope; (5) a four-page pictorial advert for "Curley Coldiron and the Circle C Boys, appearing nightly at Mike Scheid's Ringside Ranch" in Chicago's Loop. Contains photos of the Circle C trio with Red Foley, PeeWee King, Gene Autry, and others. Very Good. Item #040281

Mike Schied opened the Ringside Ranch at 5 North Clark in 1948. He moved to a different address when the building was torn down in 1959. This group of ephemera reflects his urban cowboy humor.
