On the verso is printed: "Warren's, 289 Washington Street, Boston, Mass. Under the Superintendence of Mr. S.B. Heald." Written in light pencil is "Cushman" [not an authentic signature]. Very Good. Cushman (1816-1876) was an American stage actress whose "voice was noted for its full contralto register, and she was able to play both male and female parts" (Wikipedia).
