1844. Original manuscript. The final-account statements for crewmen and kanakas [Pacific Island workers] on the whaler were prepared by N. & W.W. Billings of New London, owners of the ship; and most are quarto, written in sepia ink on blue paper. The receipts are mostly by Capt. Daniel Fitch, written in sepia ink on various sizes and types of paper.
