1897. Original manuscript. 3-1/4pp, folio, written clearly on lined paper. Stauffer orders that upon his death, "...my body be decently interred in a Christianlike manner"; and that his debts and funeral expenses be paid at once; that money he loaned out be collected to pay for a farm that he bought from the estate of John L. Brandt; that his interests in a woodlot in West Hempfield be sold; that his estate remain intact "...as a whole, to be managed and controlled by my dear wife Ella H. Stauffer..."; that each of his sons be given "...a buggy, sleigh, horse, harness and blankets...," and two hundred dollars; &c. Dated 13 December 1897. Signed by Stauffer.
