1868. Original manuscript. 7pp, octavo, neatly written in sepia ink. Rev. Fraser remonstrates the Church for their actions, citing Biblical references, and pleading his innocence. In the original mailing envelope with a three-cent stamp. Very Good. Item #041354

Recorded in the Minutes of the General Assembly of the Presbyterian Church is a detailed account of this case, defending Alexander Fraser against the Synod of Buffalo. In part, he "...was convicted by the Session of Caledonia Church of neglecting ordinances, and suspended from the church [without trial]...the Session proceeded to condemn him, and to suspend him from the communion, without citation, without any written charges..., &c., &c. (Minutes of the General Assembly, pp. 548-549).
