Betsey, a single woman, sold to Stevens for $80 "a tract or parcel of Marsh situated in said Warren and bounded as follows, viz: Beginning at the mouth of a Creak on the easterly side of St. George River called Dunham Creak, thence up said Creak about twelve rods to a cross Trench, thence." Betsey had purchased the land from Robert McIntyre on 27 April 1818.
